As an HR, reading conventional resumes of applicants and shortlisting for the interview is a tedious task, isn't it?
Not only that, but the attitude of the candidates also cannot be assessed through mere words. Going through their skill sets and understanding them is very time-consuming.

With these problems in mind, we designed the first-ever augmented resume for the CLAP International School of Business. CLAP AR makes the student resumes came alive where their 3D holograms talk to you about their skills and abilities. It also shows skillsets of the applicants as an overlay on the resume so that the person reading the resume can get the important skillsets of the applicant
It is an android app aimed at the placement employees, they can shortlist suitable candidates with a single click and the details of the shortlisted candidates are mailed to the college. The entire brochure was also augmented this way, where every picture comes alive in a video or an interactive element.
Thus we solved the problem using augmented reality.
Today I came to notice the news regarding Techie dies after illegal hoarding falls on her.
Now it's 21st and technology has grown very much. Still, we are using conventional methods like flux boards, hoardings, billboards, etc for marketing and promotional activities.
Today political parties, movies, etc using huge hoardings and cut-outs just to show their influence among people or fans. These types of boards pose a huge threat to nature as well as society and are actually a wastage of money.
How can we solve this problem?
Technology can address these types of problems in a smarter way.
A year back we have thought of this and introduced augmented reality (AR) as an alternative to plastic fluxes.
During the campus election at Govt. Engineering College Thrissur, there were rules that political parties cannot use plastic banners for the campaign. So, they used cloth banners instead of flex which limited the use of colorful pictures. This made us think that why can’t we use augmented reality (AR) for the promotion.
And for the first time in Kerala, we have created an augmented reality election campaign through our android app Augmented GEC. When the app’s camera was pointed at the election posters installed by political parties, it showed photos and videos of candidates, campaigns conducted, etc. It was a pilot project and we got a huge response from people and media.

After that, we contacted several political parties to implement the same in Loksabha Elections 2019. But none of them showed interest.
The problem for the people is that they only think of a sustainable solution when such incidents occur.
